Netflix premieres Ranma ½ season 3 today
MAPPA's remake arrives this Saturday one episode at a time, not as a full drop. In Mexico the first was expected around 9:55 a.m.
Season 3 of the animated *Ranma ½* remake arrived this Saturday, October 3, 2026, on Netflix, where it streams exclusively. Episodes come out weekly, after their broadcast in Japan, according to El Informador, a Mexican newspaper.
For viewers in Mexico the habit changes: a new episode every Saturday, not a whole season available at once.
Peru's El Comercio estimated the first episode would appear in Mexico and Central America around 9:55 a.m. It gave 12:55 p.m. for Chile, Argentina and Brazil, and 5:55 p.m. for Spain. These are reference times: the episode can take a few minutes to reach the catalog. In Japan the broadcast was scheduled for 24:55, which already falls on October 4.
The opening episode is titled "Training Meals" and picks up the duel between Ranma and Ryoga that was left pending before the characters' summer vacation.
MAPPA remains in charge of the series. The opening is "Sunao Miman," by Fumino, and the ending is "kawaikunai," by Yuika, according to El Informador and ComicBook.com. The latter notes that the season was announced in March 2026 and that its date was set on July 26; around mid-September a third trailer appeared on MAPPA's YouTube channel.
None of the sources consulted says how many episodes the season will have, so the full schedule remains unconfirmed.
