
Planet Zoo 2 launches Oct. 13, from 765.99 pesos on Steam Mexico
Pre-orders are open and the Deluxe Edition adds six exclusive species; the PC minimum calls for 16 GB of RAM and an RTX 2060.
Planet Zoo 2 launches on October 13, 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Developer Frontier Developments confirms it on the game's Steam page, where pre-orders are already open.
Mexico's Steam store, checked on October 3, lists the standard edition at 765.99 pesos and the Deluxe Edition at 994.99. Steam sets those prices in pesos itself. The suggested prices in Frontier's May announcement are 49.99 dollars for the standard edition and 64.99 for the Deluxe.
The Deluxe Edition adds six exclusive species, according to Steam. Pre-orders also come with a bonus content pack, though the store does not say what is in it.

On October 2 the studio showed the last reveals for the Zoopedia, twelve animal silhouettes still to be unveiled. It also added a "Keeper Talks" episode on the red panda, with a keeper from Chester Zoo. Frontier says the full Zoopedia will be known before launch.
Among the sequel's new features are aquariums and aviaries, a first for the series. There are also nature reserves for releasing animals born in the player's zoo.
PC requirements, according to Steam:
- Minimum: 16 GB of RAM and 40 GB of storage; an RTX 2060 with 6 GB, an RX 5600 XT with 6 GB or an Arc A750 with 8 GB; an Intel i7-8700K or Ryzen 5 3600 processor; DirectX 12 and 64-bit Windows 10 or 11.
- Recommended: 16 GB of RAM and 40 GB on an SSD; an Arc A770 with 16 GB, an RTX 3070 with 8 GB or an RX 6700 XT with 12 GB; an Intel i7-10700K or Ryzen 7 5800X processor; Windows 11.
The game is rated E10+ by the ESRB and is available in 17 languages, Spanish included. Prices on the PlayStation Store and Xbox store in Mexico, and whether the Deluxe Edition gives early access, remain unconfirmed.
