The most recent count of qualifiers for the League of Legends World Championship that we found dates from September 28, and no later one changes it. That makes this piece an analysis of where the bracket stands, not a news update: according to Fragster and Sports Kyunghyang, Worlds 2026 has 18 of its 19 teams.

Here is how the filled spots break down. According to Fragster, the LCK sent Gen.G, Hanwha Life Esports, T1 and Dplus KIA, and the LPL sent Anyone's Legend, Bilibili Gaming, Top Esports and Invictus Gaming. The LEC has G2 Esports, Movistar KOI and Karmine Corp; the LCS has Cloud9, Team Liquid and LYON; and the LCP has Team Secret Whales, CTBC Flying Oyster and MVK Esports.

Brazil is the only region with a spot still open. LØS, which won the CBLOL winners' final, is already in. The second Brazilian team will come from the losers' final between LOUD and FURIA, scheduled for October 4, according to Sports Kyunghyang. The winner of that series then faces LØS for the league title.

There are eleven days between that series and the start of the tournament. According to Insider Gaming, the event opens in Los Angeles on October 15 with the Play-In stage and ends on November 14. The final is played in Brooklyn, at the Barclays Center, which appears in the photo during a 2012 game. The later rounds are played at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas, according to Lolesports.

Still unconfirmed are the start time of the October 4 series, whether there will be an official Spanish-language broadcast, and at which stage the second Brazilian team will enter: Sheep Esports says through the Play-In, but there is no second source.
