The Latin Recording Academy named him among the first 14 acts for the Nov. 12 gala in Las Vegas, where he is also nominated for "Humano".

Juanes will perform at the 27th Latin Grammys. The Latin Recording Academy named him among the first 14 acts for the gala on Thursday, Nov. 12, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The Colombian singer arrives with a double role. He is also up for Song of the Year with "Humano," a nomination he shares with Vivir Quintana, and for Best Pop/Rock Album for *JuanesTeban*. He has 51 nominations over his career, and this will be the eleventh time he plays live on the show.

The Academy has not said which song he will perform or whether he will share the stage with anyone.

Also on the bill: Rosalía, Anitta, Jorge Drexler, Kany García, Silvana Estrada, Mon Laferte, Rawayana, Elena Rose and Xavi, along with Daddy Yankee, whom the Academy honors this year as Person of the Year, and the Mexican acts Carín León and Banda Los Recoditos. Vivir Quintana is on the list too. This is only the first announcement, and more names are expected before the gala.

Univision will broadcast the three-hour ceremony in the United States starting at 7 p.m. Central, after a one-hour pre-show. Roselyn Sánchez hosts for the tenth time.
