Daddy Yankee to perform at the 2026 Latin Grammys with Rosalía

He returns to a major awards stage: the Academy honors him as Person of the Year and adds him to the first 14 performers for the Nov. 12 gala.

Daddy Yankee is heading back to an awards stage at the Latin Grammys. The Latin Recording Academy named him among the first 14 performers for the 27th ceremony, on Thursday, Nov. 12, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, where it also honors him as Person of the Year.

He retired from the stage in 2022 and returns in two roles: honored for his career, humanitarian work and cultural impact, and as a performer on the bill. He is also preparing *La postal*, his second album since that farewell.

The lineup includes Rosalía, Anitta, Juanes, Kany García and Jorge Drexler, among others, plus Rawayana, Elena Rose and Xavi. Roselyn Sánchez hosts for the tenth time. The Academy has not said whether more names will follow.

Several of the performers are also nominees. Rosalía has seven nominations, all for her album *Lux*, and Mon Laferte and Silvana Estrada have six each. Carín León, who is up for MudaH, the deluxe edition of *Muda*, rounds out the Mexican side of the bill with Banda Los Recoditos and Vivir Quintana.

Most awards are handed out earlier, at the Latin Grammy Premiere, not during the broadcast. Univision will air the three-hour gala in the United States starting at 7 p.m. Central, after a one-hour pre-show.
