Valorant Champions 2026 is left without Chinese teams this Friday. India's Global Esports eliminated EDward Gaming 2-0 in Group B, and South Korea's T1 came back to beat JD Gaming 2-1 in Group A, according to VLR.gg and TheSpike.gg.

With those two exits, China's four representatives finish without a single series win in a tournament played in their own country. Xi Lai Gaming and TYLOO had already been knocked out on October 1.

Global Esports won Summit 13-5 and Sunset 13-6. T1's series was closer: it took Lotus 13-11 after trailing 11-6, dropped Abyss 3-13 and closed on Haven with a 13-5.

The Chinese teams' records, according to the VLR.gg table, are:

  • TYLOO: 0-2 against G2 and 1-2 against Liquid.
  • Xi Lai Gaming: 0-2 against Karmine Corp and 0-2 against Nongshim RedForce.
  • EDward Gaming: 0-2 against LOUD and 0-2 against Global Esports.
  • JD Gaming: 0-2 against FUT and 1-2 against T1.

They won only two maps in the whole tournament: Summit, which TYLOO took from Liquid, and Abyss, which JD Gaming took from T1. According to TheSpike.gg and VLR.gg, it is the worst regional showing Champions has ever seen, an assessment from those outlets that Riot Games does not back with an official figure.

The tournament carries on without its host. The group deciders are G2 against Liquid and Karmine Corp against Nongshim RedForce on October 3, and LOUD against Global Esports and FUT against T1 on October 4. The playoffs begin on October 7 and the final is on October 18, according to VLR.gg. Brazil's LOUD will face Global Esports again, the same team that knocked out EDward Gaming this Friday.
