Planet Zoo 2 launches Oct. 13 at 8 a.m. Mexico City time
Frontier opens it on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S at the same moment, and preorder holders can already preload it.
Planet Zoo 2 launches on Oct. 13, 2026, at 3 p.m. UK time, on all platforms at once. Frontier Developments set the hour in its launch countdown post. In Mexico City, which is on UTC-6, that is 8 a.m., a conversion by this newsroom.
The game comes to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and to GeForce NOW from day one. Anyone who preordered can already preload it on Steam, Xbox Series and PS5, so the download is ready before the doors open.
On Steam, the standard edition costs $49.99 and the Deluxe edition $64.99. This story does not give the Steam Mexico price in dollars because no official exchange rate for today was available. Console prices in Mexico were not checked.
The Deluxe edition adds six extra species and exclusive animal signs, according to GamingOnLinux, citing Frontier. Every preorder, until launch time, also includes the Bonus Content Pack: a toucan shop with its signage, three donation bins and a tiger photo stand-in wall.

Check your PC against Steam's list before you download: the minimum asks for 16 GB of memory and a graphics card like the RTX 2060, and the recommended setup requires an SSD.
