Phantom Blade Zero launches Oct. 29; about $57 on Steam Mexico
Steam Mexico opens preorders at $57 (1,039.99 pesos), and two six-hour previews praise the combat while leaving low-end PC performance untested.
Phantom Blade Zero, the action game developed by S-GAME Studio, launches Oct. 29 on PS5 and PC.
Preorders are open on Steam, where the standard edition costs $57 (1,039.99 pesos, at 18.11 pesos per dollar, Banxico's Oct. 8 FIX).
The Digital Deluxe edition costs $67 (1,209.99 pesos).
In the United States the standard edition is $59.99.
Steam shows Oct. 28 because the game unlocks the night before. According to VICE, it starts at 7:00 p.m. Pacific, which is 8:00 p.m. in Mexico City.
Preorders include the Treasure Basin accessory and the Legacy outfit, both of which can also be earned in play. The Deluxe edition adds two outfits, Wulin Legend and Blood-Steel Form, plus a digital art book and soundtrack, per VICE. Steam does not detail that content.

First impressions
Two outlets played about six hours, both on PC. Inven Global tried a build still in development at an event in Beijing and called the action "absolutely incredible." Its preview describes four difficulty levels and combat in which swapping weapons restores stamina, which pushes players to alternate. On Defier, bosses change their attack patterns, besides taking and dealing more damage.

The Outer Haven played a near-final build in Los Angeles, at 4K with Ultra settings on NVIDIA hardware, and saw no stutter or artifacts. It notes it could not test mid-range or low-end machines. After dying to a boss, the game restarts the player at the start of the phase, not the fight.
Neither preview carries a numeric score. Reviews will arrive with the embargo, which the sources consulted have not announced. The price on the Mexican PlayStation Store is also still missing.
