Valorant Champions Top 4: full schedule in Mexico City time

Vitality and LOUD open the upper final at 00:00 Mexico City time on Friday, and Sunday's grand final will unveil a new agent.

Valorant Champions Shanghai will be decided between Oct. 16 and 18 with four teams left: Team Vitality, LOUD, 100 Thieves and G2 Esports. From Mexico, everything lands in the small hours. The first match, the upper final between Vitality and LOUD, starts at 00:00 on Friday, Oct. 16, just as Thursday ends.

Riot does not list match times in its finals weekend preview. The ones in the table come from VLR, according to AccountShark. They were posted in Central European time (08:00 for the upper final) and have been converted to Mexico City time here.

Two of the pairings are rematches, and EsportNow confirms the upper final time. Vitality had already beaten LOUD 2-0 in the group stage on Sept. 30, and on Oct. 8 G2 beat 100 Thieves by the same 2-0 score, according to The Spike.

Riot does confirm three things around the final:

  • The Oct. 18 grand final is at the Mercedes-Benz Arena. An opening ceremony comes first, and a new agent will be shown live.
  • A showmatch on Saturday, Oct. 17: Team Omega, captained by TenZ, against Team Alpha, led by Karry Wang.
  • The tournament MVP will be named once the grand final ends.

Two points remain open. Riot has not given a time for the showmatch or the opening ceremony, and its preview does not name a broadcast channel. AccountShark mentions the VALORANT Esports channels and co-streams, and recommends checking each match's official schedule card on the day.
