Xbox Nano Controller costs $49.99 and arrives in November
Xbox opened preorders today for its smallest controller. It ships in November to Mexico and 35 other markets, with no local price yet.
Xbox unveiled the Nano Controller, the smallest controller in its lineup, and opened preorders on Oct. 14 at $49.99, according to the Xbox Wire announcement from James Hunter, general manager of Xbox accessories. Pricing varies by country, and Xbox has not published a Mexican peso price.
The controller arrives in November in Mexico and 35 other markets, including the United States, Canada, Brazil, Colombia, Spain and the United Kingdom. Xbox gives only the month. Game Rant reports Nov. 3, a date the company has not confirmed.
Here is what it offers, according to Xbox:
- Size: a little over 5 inches (about 13 cm) long and 3.5 ounces (about 99 g).
- Buttons: the 18 inputs of a standard controller, in the usual layout.
- Action Button: programmable, for shortcuts such as screenshots or gameplay capture.
- Connectivity: Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth.
- Battery: rechargeable.
Xbox describes it as designed to "fit nearly every pocket and budget." Game Rant adds that it works with Xbox consoles, Windows PCs and, over Bluetooth, Android and iOS. That compatibility does not appear in the announcement.
In the United States there will be two holiday bundles. One with select Samsung TVs and another with a Meta Quest purchase include two months of Game Pass Ultimate for new accounts. Xbox has not announced those offers for Mexico.
Still missing are the peso price and the Mexican stores that will open preorders, details Xbox has not given.
