Dodgers and Brewers open the NLCS Sunday with Misiorowski
Milwaukee has its Game 1 starter set and the Dodgers do not; the series is a rematch of the 2025 National League final.
The National League Championship Series opens Sunday, Oct. 11, with the Dodgers visiting Milwaukee. First pitch is at 8 p.m. Eastern, which is 6 p.m. in Mexico City, and the broadcast is on FOX, FOX Deportes and FOX One, according to MLB.com.
Milwaukee will start right-hander Jacob Misiorowski. MLB.com still lists the Los Angeles starter as pending and points to left-hander Tarik Skubal as the probable choice. The Brewers arrive after beating the Padres 3-1 in the Division Series, as our earlier recap of that series reported.
In the regular season, according to the same source, Misiorowski led the Brewers with a 1.80 ERA, 252 strikeouts and a 0.80 WHIP, and he starts Game 1.
History favors Los Angeles. According to NBC Sports, the Dodgers won all three previous playoff meetings with Milwaukee: 2018 (4-3), the 2020 Wild Card (2-0) and 2025 (4-0). In the regular season, however, the Brewers won the season series, 4 games to 3.
