Harry Kane opened the scoring in the 8th minute, set up by Jude Bellingham. Bellingham got the second in the 21st. Anthony Gordon made it 3-0 in the 39th and Bukayo Saka closed the first half with the fourth in the 45th. England went into the break four goals ahead.
After halftime, Kane scored his second in the 53rd. Saka matched him in the 68th with the sixth, and Morgan Rogers added the 7-0 in the 87th.
Croatia barely reached England's penalty area. According to ESPN, England had 64% of possession and the hosts managed a single shot on target. Sky Sports called it Croatia's worst defeat in a single match. The exact historical figure has not been confirmed by the Croatian federation.
Kane adds another mark: according to Sky Sports, he has now scored in each of his last six away matches for England. Roy Keane, a Sky Sports pundit, summed up the performance in a short phrase: "Everything you would want."
England now stand at two wins and one loss, with six points, according to ESPN. Croatia stay on three, from one win and two losses. The English side had lost 3-2 to Spain, according to Claro Sports, and went into the match without left back Nico O'Reilly, as our preview reported.
