Pittsburgh tied it with a 58-yard field goal in the final two minutes and won on an Aaron Rodgers touchdown pass to Germie Bernard in the extra period.
Pittsburgh beat Tampa Bay 26-19 in overtime at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 18. It is the Steelers' first road win of the season, according to the team.
Pittsburgh entered the fourth quarter trailing by 13 points. In that period the offense gained 230 yards, according to NBC Sports. Kicker Chris Boswell tied it at 16-16 with a 58-yard field goal with under two minutes left.
Two plays later, Jamel Dean, a former Tampa Bay cornerback, intercepted Jalon Daniels and returned it 40 yards. Boswell put the Steelers ahead with a 20-yard field goal (19-16), but Chase McLaughlin tied it with a 53-yarder with eight seconds left and sent the game to overtime.
In the extra period, Aaron Rodgers led a 12-play, 70-yard drive that ended with a six-yard touchdown pass to Germie Bernard with 3:15 on the clock. The Bucs reached midfield. There, on fourth-and-8 with 1:06 left, Jalen Ramsey sacked Daniels and ended the game.
Rodgers completed 33 of 49 passes for 253 yards, two touchdowns and one interception. Daniels, the Bucs' quarterback, finished 22 of 43 for 164 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. Pittsburgh totaled 300 yards and Tampa Bay 224.
Ramsey said, in remarks the team published: "We always keep hope, we always believe in each other."
