Apple invites press to an Oct. 13 event in New York

The invitation carries the line "Welcome home" and names no products; unconfirmed reports point to a home device, a HomePod mini and an Apple TV 4K.

Apple has an appointment in New York on Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2026, with reporters and content creators, under the line "Welcome home"; it calls it an "Apple Experience". Greg Joswiak, the company's senior vice president of worldwide marketing, gave the date on X with the message "Welcome home. October 13.", as Cult of Mac reports. It starts at 9:00 a.m. Eastern Time, which is 7:00 a.m. in Mexico City.

Apple has not said what it will show. MacRumors notes that the company wrote "experience" and not "event", that the occasion is missing from Apple's events page and that no livestream has been announced. Its reading, which is an interpretation and not an Apple statement, is that products will arrive in press-room releases with short videos, and that invitees will post their impressions afterward.

Everything else is unconfirmed reporting. Cult of Mac, citing leaks, mentions three products: a screen-equipped home device built around Siri, a second-generation HomePod mini and a refreshed Apple TV 4K. MacRumors attributes that list to Bloomberg and its reporter Mark Gurman. Cult of Mac adds that no Mac is expected on this date.

For anyone thinking of buying, there is no price or availability in Mexico, and both outlets rely on the same leaks and the same invitation. When Apple publishes them, performance figures will be manufacturer claims without independent testing. Apple's newsroom is where what was presented will be confirmed.
