007 First Light hits Switch 2 on March 18, 2027
The port costs $69.99 with the Deluxe Edition as the default; preorders include a GoldenEye suit that is exclusive to the console for now.
Three days after the announcement, the picture of the Nintendo Switch 2 version of 007 First Light is complete. IO Interactive set it for March 18, 2027, with preorders open since October 15, according to Player.One. The game launched on May 27, 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, and in September this version had been pushed back to March without a specific day.
Price and contents
On the Nintendo eShop it costs $69.99. On Switch 2 the Deluxe Edition is the one sold by default; on other platforms it costs $10 more than the standard edition, according to ComicBook.com. That Deluxe adds four gadgets (Gleaming Lighter, Earphones, Dart Gun and Pen) and, separately, four more suits: Gentleman Operator, Silent Anchor, Desert Explorer and Day of the Dead.
Amazon sells a special Switch 2 edition in the United States with the "Classic Tuxedo" outfit. The port also launches with the free Extended Operations update.
The GoldenEye suit
Anyone who preorders gets a James Bond suit inspired by the one Pierce Brosnan wore in the 1995 film GoldenEye, a nod to the Nintendo 64 classic. IO Interactive presents it as exclusive to Switch 2. ComicBook.com doubts that will last: dataminers found a label for that suit in the code of the other versions, although the model appears to be an existing golden suit.
What remains open
The same outlet notes it is not clear the studio will hit the date after several delays. There is also no official price in Mexican pesos on the Mexico eShop, nor for the standard edition or the Amazon one. For now, March 18 is the first concrete date for Switch 2 players.
