Peak launches on PS5, Xbox Series and Switch 2 on Oct. 22
The co-op climbing game, out on PC since 2025, is coming to consoles with crossplay and a disc edition.
*Peak*, the co-op climbing game from studios Aggro Crab and Landfall, will launch on consoles on Oct. 22, 2026. The announcement came Oct. 15 on the official PlayStation blog, which confirms the PS5 version. VGChartz reports the same date applies to Xbox Series X|S and Switch 2.
The game debuted on PC through Steam in June 2025 and has not been available on consoles until now. The goal is to reach the summit of the mountain that dominates an island, alone or with friends, and one mistake halfway up the wall can cost you your progress.
The PS5 version includes all the content the game has added since its release, including biomes and items, according to PlayStation. Here is what is known about the launch:
- Four biomes, each with its own hazards: tornadoes, poisonous clouds, birds and zombies.
- Co-op for up to five players, or solo, with proximity chat.
- Crossplay across platforms, so players can climb with friends on another console.
- A map that changes every 24 hours.
- A physical disc edition, with a printed passport and a code to gift the game to a friend on PS5, according to VGChartz.
On sales, VGChartz cites more than 10 million units, but does not say whether the figure covers only PC or what date it refers to. It is best read as the outlet's own reference and not as a figure from the studio.
Neither source gives a console price, in dollars or in Mexican pesos, or details what the physical edition includes on Xbox and Switch 2. What remains pending is for the PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo stores to post their listings before Oct. 22.
