Mycopunk leaves early access Oct. 20 on PC and PS5
Pigeons at Play and Devolver's co-op shooter reaches version 1.0; on Steam Mexico it costs about $9.68, and LEVEL UP reports PS Plus Extra.
Pigeons at Play and Devolver Digital will take Mycopunk out of early access on Tuesday, Oct. 20, with version 1.0 on PC and PS5. The studio announced it on Steam a day earlier, with a notice about a new region, the moon X11-B, and tweaks to dozens of weapon upgrades such as Subzero Energy and Plasma Arc.
Mycopunk is a co-op "looter shooter" for up to four players: each one controls a robot that completes missions against fungal creatures and builds out its gear with hundreds of upgrades, according to the Steam page. On PC it has been available since July 10, 2025.
The news is the console. LEVEL UP reports that on that day the PS5 version joins PS Plus Extra and Premium at no extra cost for subscribers. That detail has not been checked against the official PlayStation blog.
On Steam Mexico the game costs about $9.68 (178.99 pesos, at 18.49 pesos per dollar on Oct. 16), with no discount.
That is the price in force as of Oct. 19, before 1.0: no launch price has been announced, and the PlayStation Store price was not found.
Minimum PC requirements, for 1080p at 30 frames per second on low settings, according to Steam:
- System: 64-bit Windows 10.
- Processor: Intel Core i3-610 or AMD FX-8350.
- Memory: 8 GB of RAM.
- Graphics: GeForce GTX 960, Radeon R9 380 or Arc A380, with DirectX 12.
- Storage: 10 GB.
On Steam, 88% of user reviews were positive, according to LEVEL UP, as of Sept. 21. Still pending are the exact launch time, the PS5 price and the official list of 1.0 changes.
