Oct. 12-16 releases: Planet Zoo 2, Boltgun 2, Castlevania

Planet Zoo 2, Boltgun 2 and Castlevania: Belmont's Curse launch Oct. 13-15, and five titles join Game Pass this week.

Three launches with dates, prices and platforms announced by their studios mark the week of Oct. 12-16. Xbox Wire published its weekly schedule on Friday, covering more than 35 titles and noting which ones join the subscription service.

Planet Zoo 2 arrives Tuesday, Oct. 13, on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Its studio, Frontier Developments, asks $49.99 for the Standard edition and $64.99 for the Deluxe, which adds six extra species.

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 launches Wednesday, Oct. 14, on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series. The Switch 2 version comes later, with no date, according to Gematsu. Xbox Wire's list prices it at $24.99, with a discount that brings it to $22.49.

Castlevania: Belmont's Curse, from Konami with studios Evil Empire and Motion Twin, lands Thursday, Oct. 15, on PS5, Xbox Series and PC. Xbox Wire lists it at $29.99. The Switch version will follow later in 2026, according to Gematsu.

Five titles join Game Pass this week at no extra cost, according to Xbox Wire:

  • Oct. 13: Valor Mortis and Deep Dish Dungeon.
  • Oct. 15: Bluey's Happy Snaps and Chained Beasts.
  • Oct. 16: Beyond These Stars.

Tales of Eternia Remastered also launches Friday, Oct. 16; the list does not detail its platforms.

All figures are in US dollars, and none of the three has an official price in Mexican pesos yet. Xbox Wire warns that dates can change, so it is worth checking them on Monday. The week closes with early access to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 campaign, which opens Oct. 16.
