Pokémon Legends: Z-A and Mega Dimension Share One Cartridge
The Switch 2 bundle arrives October 29 with 100 Ultra Balls; the $99.99 price comes from RPGamer and is not on the official page.
On October 29, The Pokémon Company and Nintendo will release a physical bundle for the Nintendo Switch 2 that puts the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Pokémon Legends: Z-A and its Mega Dimension expansion on a single game card. The announcement was made on September 30 on Pokémon.com.
The box includes a serial code for 100 Ultra Balls, delivered through the Mystery Gift menu. The cartridge also runs on the original Switch, but without the features built for Switch 2 hardware. The ESRB rating is E 10+.
Mega Dimension adds the Mythical Pokémon Hoopa and the spatial distortions of Lumiose City to the story. Until now, players had to buy the expansion separately and download it.
There is still no official price. RPGamer reports $99.99 and cites $69.99 for the Switch 2 Edition and $29.99 for the expansion on its own, which add up to $99.98. Pokémon.com publishes none of those figures, and there is no price in Mexican pesos either.
Two details remain open: whether preorders will open and when, and whether the bundle will go on sale in Mexico and through which store. For those who already own the game, the announcement does not mention an update.
