City and PSG meet today at the Etihad in the Champions League
Both won on matchday 1; according to previews, City report no absences and PSG await word on Senny Mayulu.
Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain play today, Wednesday, Oct. 14, at the Etihad Stadium on Champions League matchday 2. Kickoff is at 20:00 in England, 13:00 in Mexico City. Both teams won on the opening matchday: City 2-0 away at Porto, and PSG 6-1 at home against Slovan Bratislava.
The Champions League record favors City. They have met seven times, with four wins for the English side, two for PSG and one draw, according to Al Jazeera. The managers are Enzo Maresca at City and Luis Enrique at PSG.
Media previews report no injured players at City. Sports Mole adds that Phil Foden is available after serving a three-match domestic ban that does not apply in European competition.
The doubt is in Paris. Senny Mayulu appears in two versions: Al Jazeera has him out until late October with a thigh injury, while Sports Mole describes a knock to the leg and says he will be assessed before the match. The two accounts do not agree, and neither club has published a medical update in the sources consulted.
There are no confirmed lineups either: those in circulation are the media's own predictions. The official ones will be known before the match.
