REDMAGIC 12 Pro hits Mexico from about $1,119
The official store lists three configurations of the gaming phone, with general sales opening Nov. 18 and a 30-peso coupon that gets buyers in a day early.
REDMAGIC's gaming phone, the 12 Pro, now has a price in Mexico: the official store asks 20,999 pesos (about $1,119, at 18.76 pesos per dollar on Nov. 3) for the 12 GB RAM, 256 GB version. It cannot be bought yet. General sales open Nov. 18.
| Version | Colors | Price |
|---|---|---|
| 12 GB + 256 GB | Nightfreeze | 20,999 pesos (about $1,119) |
| 16 GB + 512 GB | Nightfreeze or Subzero | 24,999 pesos (about $1,333) |
| 16 GB + 1 TB | Nightfreeze or Subzero | 28,999 pesos (about $1,546) |
Nightfreeze is the black finish. Subzero, a silvery white, starts at 24,999 pesos.
The launch page lays out a shortcut. From Nov. 12 to 17, the Early Bird is on sale: 30 pesos (about $1.60) buys a coupon sent by email that unlocks a day of early access on Nov. 17 and drops the entry price to 19,999 pesos (about $1,066). A gift set with a charger and branded items comes with it. Coupons and gifts expire Dec. 18.
REDMAGIC says the phone runs a Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip and an 8,400 mAh battery with 80 W charging. Its AMOLED screen measures 6.85 inches and refreshes at 185 Hz, and the cooling system is called AquaCore 3.0. Those are the company's numbers: no independent tests of performance, battery life or temperatures exist yet.
The store does not say what the gift set contains or what each version costs with the coupon; it only advertises "from 19,999 pesos." Pre-registration stays open until Nov. 12, the day Early Bird purchases begin.
