Phantom Blade Zero tops 4 million copies sold in 72 hours
The developer's figure does not split PC from PS5. On Steam Mexico the game costs about $55, and 89% of player reviews are positive.
Phantom Blade Zero has sold more than 4 million copies in 72 hours, its developer, S-GAME, said Sunday night.
The post went up at 8:02 p.m. Mexico City time with a graphic reading "4,000,000+" and a line saying the count covers all platforms. The studio thanked players "from the bottom of our hearts" for their love and support.
The number comes from the company itself. The game is out on PC and PS5, and the studio does not split sales by version or say whether "copies sold" includes gifts, keys or subscription access. Unlike figures from Circana or SteamDB, no outside party audits it.
Player reception is easier to check on Steam, where 89% of 4,740 English-language reviews are positive, a rating the store labels "Very Positive." That share shifts daily.
On Steam Mexico, the standard edition costs about $55 (1,039.99 pesos, at 18.80 pesos per dollar, the Banxico FIX for Oct. 30). The Digital Deluxe edition runs about $64 (1,209.99 pesos).
PC players will want room to spare: the game takes up about 145 GB, a size that came out with the preload and unlock times.
