Witchbrook will cost $24.99, with boxed editions later
Chucklefish set the launch price, confirmed ten languages and said standard and collector's boxed editions will follow, with no date yet.
Witchbrook will cost $24.99 when it launches Jan. 28, 2027, on PC, both Switch models, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. Developer Chucklefish posted the price on the game's blog Tuesday.
There is no price for Mexico yet. The studio says regional prices will come closer to launch.
Anyone who wants a box will have to wait. Chucklefish is preparing standard and collector's editions in physical form, due "some time after" the digital release. It has given no date, platforms or contents. The game's Japanese account mentions spring 2027 for the boxed version, which the English-language blog does not confirm.
The game will ship in ten languages, according to its press kit: English, French, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Russian and both simplified and traditional Chinese.
Witchbrook is a life sim set at a magic school. Players attend Witchbrook College in the coastal town of Mossport, take classes such as Alchemy and Astrology, make friends, find romance, open a witch's business and decorate a cabin in the woods. Robotality, based in Hamelin, Germany, develops it, and Chucklefish publishes. It supports online co-op for up to four players.
The studio had already pushed the release from winter 2025 to 2026, and now sets it for January 2027. "We took the additional time to make a game we're truly proud of," Chucklefish wrote.
At $24.99, Witchbrook sits in the lower-middle range for console indies. Its Steam page already accepts wishlist additions, and a Mexican price is due closer to launch.
