Percy Jackson Season 3 Lands on Disney+ Nov. 20 With New Trailer
Disney+ released the trailer for The Titan's Curse, the third Rick Riordan novel to reach the screen. It opens with two episodes.
Disney+ dropped the official trailer for the third season of Percy Jackson and the Olympians on Monday, along with a premiere date. The season arrives Friday, Nov. 20, on Disney+ and Hulu.
It opens with two episodes, then adds two more each week, so the run stretches over several weeks. The announcement does not say how many episodes there are in all, or whether the date holds in Mexico and the rest of Latin America.
This season adapts The Titan's Curse, the third novel in Rick Riordan's series and the first time that book has been filmed. Percy has to rescue Annabeth after she is captured by the forces of Kronos, and the platform says the stakes are higher than ever.
Walker Scobell leads the cast alongside Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri. Charlie Bushnell, Tamara Smart and Levi Chrisopulos round out Disney+'s list. Riordan and Jonathan E. Steinberg are behind the series.
A teaser shown Aug. 15 at the Disney Entertainment showcase D23 held at the Honda Center came first. Scobell appeared with Ming-Na Wen (Hera) and Andra Day (Athena). The trailer lands 18 days before the Nov. 20 premiere.
