The Diplomat returns for season 4 on Netflix on Oct. 15
Netflix will release all eight episodes at once, so the first weekend is enough to watch the whole season in one go.
Netflix will premiere the fourth season of "The Diplomat" on Thursday, Oct. 15, worldwide, with all eight episodes available at once and no weekly releases. The platform announced the date on Netflix Tudum on Aug. 17, and TVLine details the format.
Netflix's October calendar for Latin America, which El Imparcial reproduced on Oct. 1, keeps the series on that day, alongside "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2", the third season of "Nobody Wants This" and part four of "Lupin".
Keri Russell returns as Ambassador Kate Wyler, and Rufus Sewell as her husband, Hal. Allison Janney is back as President Grace Penn, along with Bradley Whitford, Ato Essandoh, Ali Ahn, Nana Mensah and Rory Kinnear. Debora Cahn remains the showrunner.
According to the synopsis that TVLine and What's on Netflix reproduce, a "catastrophic moment" shatters the peace Kate had negotiated between the United States and the United Kingdom, and her marriage is in crisis. Grace and Hal plan to seize Russia's most powerful weapon, which brings the United States to the brink of war; Kate and Todd try to stop them.
In the teaser, Kate warns: "The fights are gonna be spicy." Cahn described the season as "built on the foursome that is Kate, Hal, Grace, and Todd," according to What's on Netflix. The show was filmed in London and Italy.
None of the sources consulted gives the exact release time in Mexico, and the Spanish-language title comes from El Imparcial's calendar, so both should be confirmed in Netflix Mexico's catalog.
