Riders Republic comes to Switch 2 on Dec. 9
Ubisoft marks the game's fifth anniversary with a free trial from Oct. 22 to 26 and an offline mode for every platform.
Riders Republic is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 on Dec. 9. Ubisoft announced the port as the open-world extreme sports game turns five. It has passed 17 million players.
Ubisoft has not given a price for the Switch 2 version.
Nomad mode debuts the same day, built for offline play on every platform, the new Nintendo console included. Players can roam the map, unlock landmarks and hunt for viewpoints or balloons, and their progress syncs once they reconnect. The store, the season, sponsors, multiplayer and community-made events still need an internet connection.
A free weekend comes first, from Thursday, Oct. 22, through Monday, Oct. 26. Anyone who buys the game afterward keeps their progress. The Switch 2 version is not part of the trial because it does not exist yet.
It is not the first time Ubisoft has given the game away: last October a trial ran Oct. 9-13 on PlayStation, Xbox and Ubisoft Connect.
